When to Hire a Stationery Designer

We know that there are many options for couples when it comes to choosing how to order and send wedding invitations. Some couples take the task on themselves, and others will hand this over. We have a few thoughts when it comes to hiring a stationery designer for custom stationery. Check them out below and let us know if you have any questions about what it’s like to work with a stationery designer!

1. You’ll have an expert in your corner.

Stationers have experience with printing methods, different weights of paper, envelope sizes, mailing standards and more. We have knowledge about the wedding industry as a whole, including current trends, materials, and how to incorporate them into your event.

2. It will 100% save you time, (and maybe even money!).

Trying to DIY your invites (or occasionally even ordering semi-custom), can take hours and hours. From finding supplies, matching colors, finding a place to print them. To assembling, stuffing, sealing, and figuring out postage for everything can be both stressful and take precious time away from all of the other things you have to worry about. If you hire a stationer, you have a team member on your side to handle all of the details, and all you have to do is get your invites in the mail!

3. Wedding planning should be a joyful time.

The very last thing we want for any couple getting married is to feel stressed or overwhelmed. Having a stationer in your corner means you’ll have a paper bestie to chat through everything with, and you’ll get to do all of the fun parts of choosing pieces for your wedding, without all the stress of what paper is best, where to get it printed, and wondering if you bought the right stamps to make sure your guest in Germany receives their invites.

If you think you’d like to have us on your team, we’d love to chat all things paper with you!
