Luxury Wedding at The Arlo | Emma + Cody

In February, we were privileged to be a part of Emma and Cody’s luxurious black and white wedding day at The Arlo. This wedding was 100% one for the books, and everything about the design was like stepping into a luxury fairytale scene.

Entering The Arlo

Upon entering the venue, guests were greeted by our ‘Ella’ Rental on the front lawn under a canopy of lights. We made this sign a full circle view with welcome signage on the front, and an order of events on the back. Guests mixed and mingled for hot chocolate and macarons pre-ceremony. We loved this pre-ceremony mingle for letting guests arrive and settle into the environment of the day.

A Floral Covered Ceremony Space

The ceremony was held in The Arlo’s grand ceremony space, and it was jaw dropping. There were floor to ceiling florals from the ever spectacular Remi and Gold that covered the space. A stage was set up for the bride’s sister to play a white baby grand piano as the couple entered.  For guests of honor, we labeled each of the seats with an acrylic plaque with their name on it and foil-stamped gold silk ribbon – more personalized silk ribbon please!!!

Cocktail Hour

After the ceremony, guests moved to the back lawn for cocktail hour. For bar signage, we used our large wall rental, (affectionately known as Bess), to create a backdrop and bar menu, helping cozy up the space under the lights.

Luxury Reception Details

Lastly, the reception. Guests entered into a full-scale install for the seating chart, walking into a draped ‘room’ to find their table assignment on custom-made stands. This install is what our dreams are made of. Because of the draping, such a fun experience was created for the guests, and allowed the seating chart to truly shine!

The bar, dance floor, and DJ booth were all decked out with a monogram we designed for E + C. This is one of our most recommended ways to bring a personal touch to your wedding decor! With a final customized touch of drink stirrers with their last name.

Black and White Tablescapes

The tablescapes were stunning, and we really got to pull out all of the stops. The table numbers were custom cut/etched acrylic. To go along with these, we went with square letterpress menus. They included a velvet backing that had an impression of their wedding monogram on it. One of our favorite touches! The letterpress/velvet combo was so luxurious and elevated the entire place setting. For the head table, we created acrylic place cards with black and gold mirror acrylic, carrying the triangular shape throughout, a nod to the couples’ invitations.

Our last, and possibly favorite touch for this wedding were the kid’s placemats. We created a custom coloring page placemat for each child’s seat, and XO Moreau put together fun backpacks with extra goodies for the extra special little guests. It was the cutest touch!

Overall, this wedding was one for the ages, and we are still dreaming of all the gorgeous details!!
