Colorful Backyard Wedding at Mattie’s | Meghan + James

After a weekend of weather ups and downs for their welcome party and rehearsal dinner, Texas finally played nice for Meghan + James’ outdoor ceremony and reception at Mattie’s. I absolutely loved the unique color palette and gorgeous design Amy of Hawthorne + Poppy came up with. It was the perfect day for this colorful backyard wedding.

Day of Wedding Branding

For the day of wedding branding, we started with a statement seating chart. The five-column installation was custom-built to fit the space. We kept it neutral to let the florals from Remi + Gold really pop. I loved the visual space this installation took up as guests entered the reception space.

Dinner Stationery Details

At the dinner tables, we created skinny menus with wrap-around place cards in the same neutrals as the seating chart. To add a pop of color to the table, we chose to add a pop of lime to the table numbers.

BACKYARD WEDDING BAR

For the outdoor bars, we created small wooden bar menus to stand on the bar as people ordered. For a personal touch, we added custom cocktail napkings as well as custom cocktail napkins, and then we collabed with Remi for the indoor bar menu, which was a taller wooden bar menu with a waterfall floral installation. (All in front of custom built bars!)
